Combat Rescue Officer (CRO) Application Process (SUSPENSE: 1 Aug 14 )

SUSPENSE: 1 Aug 14

1. ACC/A3JS is accepting applications for Combat Rescue Officers (CRO). CROs are non-rated aircrew officers who lead and command personnel recovery operations as direct combatants. They perform duties as mission planners and provide personnel recovery (PR) expertise to command and battle staffs on recovery operations, to include survival, evasion, resistance and escape programs. CROs provide advocacy and oversight to the Pararescue and Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) enlisted career fields. All candidates must review the application package located at http://www.acc.af.mil/shared/media/document/AFD-130305-061.pdf and submit their applications NLT 1 Aug 14.
