CY17 Total Force Commissioning Program

Cadets,
AFROTC has extended the TFCP into 2018; Up to 15 cadets nationwide can commission in CY17 into the reserve or guard. Some notes below:

CY17 graduates must apply and be accepted into the ARC at least 90 days prior to their
projected Extended Active Duty (EAD) date. The timeline for this program will allow eligible
cadets to apply through 31 Dec 17. Eligibility is open to all cadets projected into a non-rated
line of the Air Force specialty with the exception of cadets classified into 13N, Nuclear and
Missile Operation. Rated applicants are not eligible to apply for this program. Note: Other
AFSCs may become restricted to meet the needs of the Air Force at any time.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to find, apply for, and be accepted into an ARC position.
Individuals interested in the Guard and Reserve should make contact with their appointed
recruiter as soon as possible to identify qualifying opportunities and to coordinate potential
transfer to an ARC position. ANG and AFR recruiters assigned to AFROTC detachments are
provided in the attachments to this message for use by cadets.

All applicants must complete an AF Form 1288, Application for Ready Reserve Assignment,
with the first endorsement completed by the applicable AFROTC Detachment Commander and
second endorsement completed by an ARC recruiter. Submit the AF 1288 to AFROTC/RRFP
for AFPC processing.
