How Do I Join?

March_OnVisiting Our Detachment

As part of your introduction to the Air Force ROTC program here at Detachment 075, we’d like to invite you to visit our program and meet our cadets. Trying to juggle full-time studies, Air Force ROTC and possibly part-time employment can be challenging. But don’t be discouraged and we hope you’ll realize, just as we do, that this will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life!

Shadow A Cadet

If you are interested in shadowing a cadet for a day, please contact our Recruiting Flight Commander via the ‘Contact Us’ page. We’ll be more than happy to invite you to attend an Air Force Science class, a college class so you can see what our host and cross-town universities are like, or spend a lunch break with you to answer any questions you might have about the program. We’ll do our best to answer your questions and to help you decide whether joining Air Force ROTC and Detachment 075 is right for you.

Joining Air Force ROTC

Have you decided you like what you see? Are you interested in becoming a part of Detachment 075? Despite the detachment location at San Diego State University, students attending other colleges are able to join Air Force ROTC at SDSU. The first step is to contact the Recruiting Flight Commander via the ‘Contact Us’ page or call the detachment number at (619) 594-5545. The Recruiting Officer will help guide you through your application process and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to drop by the detachment, as the staff and cadets that are around will be more than happy to show you around and answer any questions as well.
