Captain Christopher B. Brickweg

CaptBrickwegCaptain Christopher B. Brickweg is an instructor for the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 075, San Diego State University. He recruits, trains, mentors, and evaluates highly-qualified young men and women as prospective Air Force officers. He also provides academic instructor on Air Force leadership, doctrine, and communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism and physical fitness.

Captain Brickweg received his commission through AFROTC Detachment 895, Central Washington University in 2010. As a Logistics Readiness Officer, he has served in the Air Force’s only organic Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) unit where he was responsible for the overall readiness and management of over two thousand Unit Type Codes worth over $230 million dollars. He also led a 13 person team to Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan where he was the team chief, responsible for the redeployment of BEAR assets throughout the Area of Responsibility. Prior to this assignment he served as the 36th Wing’s Installation Deployment Officer, responsible for all mobility requirements to support deployment operations across the Pacific and Middle East.
