Capt Sara Loveless is Instructor and Recruiting Officer at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 075, San Diego State University, California. She leads and evaluates 160 prospective officers through a comprehensive college program. She provides academic instruction on Air Force leadership, doctrine, and communication.
Capt Loveless entered the Air Force through ROTC at Texas A&M University in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Her first duty station was Ramstein Air Base, Germany, where she served as the Combat Readiness and Resources Flight Commander, supervising 14 members and overseeing 52 commander programs. In 2020, Capt Loveless deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Special Operation Joint Task Force-Operation INHERENT RESOLVE where she led J4 mobility operations. She was then assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base where she served as the Vehicle Management Flight Commander. In August of 2021, Capt Loveless deployed to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in support of Operation ALLIES WELCOME to receive over 10,000 Afghan evacuees. Prior to her current role, she was the Commander’s Action Group, 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina.
